Thanks, I cut and pasted her address on the first one I sent at 2:39 and wasn't returned to me as a failure to deliver, so she probably got that one. I typed out the address, and screwed it up, on the 2nd two follow up emails with the wrong address. Those were the ones that gave me the failure to deliver. Thanks Bawanna
 
Your probably ok then, she will respond if not this evening, tomorrow morning. Probably went someplace for the day.

Sorry guys, I am just ecstatic at this point. I've been drooling over a special proper YCS for the last 2 years, and this one indeed fits the bill.

Got a done deal in your behalf on todays Purna AK. Not sure if Auntie sent you a DD also. I know anticipation is a painful thing so didn't want you to suffer a second longer than necessary.

Cul is homely? This I did not know. I got a lovely YCS with the carved handle and tools, someday I'd like to score one like todays with the ying/yang thing going on as a stable mate. Awesome looking knives.

That BDC is a beauty too, funny how you take a look and the more you look and come back and look some more the better they look.
No doubt one of the symptoms of HIKV.
 
Thanks cul. I was so focused on mine I didn't pay much attention to the others. I finally looked at which one the YCS was. That's quite a piece of art, congrats yourself! It's really stunning what these guys can do without the benefit of a modern factory.
 
That little Siru needs a home. I'd snap her up but I already have 3;)
It's worth mentioning that our late great moderator Rusty used to have a 12" Siru that he kept razor sharp. I believe he dubbed her Audrey after the flesh eating plant from Little Shop of Horrors as she always seemed to demand to take a bite every time he drew her:D

I have one that rode in my wife's (then girlfriend) car when we were in college. There had been a rash of on campus stalkings in the darker parking lots. She kept that little Siru right inside her door's console. I'm willing to wager that any would-be attacker would thinking twice about tangling with a 5'10 Amazon wildly slashing away with 8" of Nepali steel:D Thankfully, she never needed it, but it did live in her car for a couple years while I lived out of town and worked while she finished Grad School.

The 12" Siru is very knifey, if that makes sense. Almost like a curved Ka-Bar. It preforms just about any knife related task quite well, yet remains capable of beat biting snap cut that you just won't be able to make a "survival" knife of the same size do. Handy little blade to keep around. The Mouse-Gun of khuks;)
