Weekend in the woods and new tools.

Awesome thread!

More of these is what we need people!

Great photos, looks like you had a great time. Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking about getting a 24, I have a 14 and love it so far, but I am hearing alot of good things about the 24.

Thanks Nathan! I'm really enjoying the 24 so far--great knife, great steel--it really holds its edge and doesn't seem as affected by dulling from the sheath. I think my favorite aspect of the knife though is the finish. The steel almost has a powdery smooth feel to it, that seems to offer less friction than either the conventionally coated Becker blades or a stripped and patina'd blade.

And that's just about sold it for me! Checking eBay again now.....:D

UPDATE: Just purchased a 24 :) Should have it in a few weeks.

I still have yet to get out and use my 24. I really can't wait to go camping in 2 weeks with the family and see how it performs with the normal camp tasks. Great photos by the way.

Free King awesome!!

More of these is what the whole country needs!

Your kids will remember this stuff for the rest of their lives.
