Thats a good lookin knife. I like the finger grooves and the polish on the stag.
One suggestion since you asked is to give it a false back edge just to thin the blade some towards the tip. You dont show a top view but it looks hollow ground and still thick there
Nice work

Looks to be for righty's only! Us poor lefties are going to someday have to conquer and dominate the world and make all guns, tooling, gold clubs, etc etc fit just for us!
Seriously, it's a good looking piece. Good job all around. Did you do a clay quench?
Is the blade etched or sandblasted to give it's look? I really like it.

You are right, the new owner is right handed. I had him come over and we drew out his hand on the handle for the groves.
The blade is etched after the clay HT and ALL the sanding.

Very nice knife indeed!! They will have something to show around and be proud even if the hunting trip is not a success.

Very nice. Maybe one day I will produce something as fine as that. Here's to dreaming.

I love the overall style and what you have done with the handle.

Nice that it's fitted to the owner.

My comment is about the large choil, for choking up on the blade?
...then you lose the guard and the advantage of the finger grooves?
(maybe i just don't like the aesthetic of them...)
