I just got a Para 2 in a trade and I really like the revisions made on the handle. I have had a Para 1 for a long time but it never got much pocket time. My major gripe was the pinky ramp. Seeing how I now had a back up I decided to do something about the annoying pinking ramp.
I broke the knife down and made a few patterns to see what felt best. There was 3 NO GO's before I made one I liked.
I marked the handles with pencil and started grinding. I made sure to wear safety glasses, gloves and a rag to cover my mouth and nose
All in all it was fairly easy to grind the G10. I thought it would have taken a lot longer than it did, maybe about 10-15 minutes of grinding.
I completly broke down the knife, rinsed in hot water then lube all the parts and wiped dry before reassembling.
The handle fits much better now. I tried to keep just a bit of the pinky ramp.
Still plenty of room for the tip not to poke out.
This is basically all I used
Thanks for reading.
