Great pics Tony!

I was however hoping to see a big Texas Largemouth:(

On the other hand, thanks for not taking a pic of the NWA Fillet knife. Everytime I see it, I want one BAD......

I have a few pics of the fish we caught ,wifey wont let me post due to the nature of the pictures and the large mouth she caught, LOL single #4 bait hook with earth worm as bait and a bobber .... about 1.5# bass !
mainly caught big bull Blue gills .... and several large mouths but not legal length to keep... my son caught a baby large mouth maybe 8"OAL with a mouth the size of a pop can....using a rapala small frog lure...1st time using a lure and actually catching something...he was asking me how will I know when I have a fish...before I could answer he reeled in the bass, I said that's how ,LOL ! it rained Saturday so limited pictures due to weather ,that sucked cuz lot of nice catches...

Thanks guys.... if you look at the knife pic you'll see a ding in the BK2 from splitting wood,I have a 3 to sharpen out ,my son hit several knots in the wood that dinged the blade... mixture of wood to split,oak,pine,cedar..I'll start working out the dings tonight...
wife carried her Izula (pinky) all day and loved it, mainly used as for Food prep & cutting fishing line...

You actually dinged a BK-2? Is it a chip or a roll?

Nice pictures of a nice time. Good looking stuff.

Awesome Tony!!

Looks like you guys had a stellar time...

Love the cordage on the Izula...Where does one find that type?

thanks bro..
I wrapped it & used a cord lock on the end so there is 2 strands hanging loosly and you can slide the cord lock out to the pair of single knots and have a lanyard. our are both wrapped the same

My faith is shattered. I thought nothing less than battoning through a Buick would do that.

Just kidding: steel is steel, and I managed to dull mine a little, too.

Looks like a great time was had by all.

Jake ,the cordage is Catfish trot line 450# test !

me being Nasty ....using something to measure the Large mouth bass my Wife caught...

Thanks for sparing us that, albiet the mental image. :p

Great pics, Tony. Looks like you had a blast!

Great time , I really like it there next time we go ,we're opting for the Primitive camp site on the other side of the lake... More secluded ....less folks....I mean 20 peeps total including us there was not bad for 3 days...
One couple never left the shelter.....unpacked and set inside the whole time watching their portable tv/vcr of the blue collar tour.....for 3 days... WTF ? I know it was not "roughing it" but come on . weather was great ,except for the Storm rolled thru late friday until about 9:30am Saturday....Fished,Hiked,played with different fire steels,
