Greg, I took one of my WAKI's, Mr. MOJO, Groove Master and old faithful GW. Banged up the last 3" of the waki on some rocks but cleaned it up enough to keep on trucking. If you ever need a fire starter just use the WAKI, makes for some good sparking!!!

LOL, nah should have had a pair of pruning shears to get that close to the ground, but oh well didn't. It worked great on everything about 4" above though. I mean a 1" bush trunk was NOTHING. We ate steaks Saturday night and I pulled out my Groove Master when my friend saw it. WOW what's that? I handed it to him and he said ,"I'd like one of these", I said, "WELL

Hey Dave, Glad your back Bro!!! I've flown out there several times and man it can get rough out over the Aleutians. Uh, think we need to hear from tundratrader (Zach) and find out when he will be up from Homer and I think that's around the mid to end of Sept.. I'm off the 22nd thru the 28th.

It was so blooming hot the only things moving were the squirrels. Saw Owls, Hawks, Porcupine and only 2-Moose. Just to HOT. It was 80 yesterday up there and believe it or not, the fireweed had gone to cotton but it was still that hot and the leave have just started turning.

That's a drag. Maybe you should have taken our bleeping weather up there with you. It seems to be agreeing with the bears and moose here in town. This year Anchorage is really living up to it's "Wild About Anchorage" hype.

I can't believe the leaves are turning and falling here at the house already.

Maybe things will cool off before season opens.
