I've been grinding like a maniac all week!!! Look out for knives soon!

Lately I have been ordering and waiting on parts... so much is close to coming together!

I have ceramic detent bearings coming in for the folders and am getting my process dialed in. The learning curve has been steep on getting folding knives really going but I'm almost there... thanks for the patience as the time is all going to perfecting the process and knives!

I have the bushcraft knives ready with sheaths not far behind, once my sheath washers are in they will be good to go!

Camp knives are in process! I tested one yesterday and was very happy with the all around performance. They will chop wood or your food, I'm liking the all around design. They are a great general outdoors design inspired by the knives of yesteryear.

Lots more too... here are some random pics of the action.

Patterns and Knives in Progress! The new ones are in the middle.

Getting Close!

I went through a few belts...

Swedged! I have 6 camp knives going, the smallest and biggest got swedges...

Miles of Swedge! This one was tricky, I'm very pleased with the results.

Tile Saw - I used to cut rocks with this and now mostly use it for G10 and Micarta

The shop...

Thanks!

Bushcraft Knives - yes those pins are blue! I did some middle pins on this group just for fun, I think they look great.

Anodized Ti on the Black G10 and Jade G10. I used some black micarta pins too... the neon green has an inset pin.

wow, everything is amazing!

The grind on that camp knife is beautiful! And that folder is awesome, I really like it. The shape, swedge and opening hole all come together nicely. I would love to see the whole thing!

Thanks for the Update, Daniel.
Have a great weekend to you and the DFK Gang.

Much appreciated... the folder pic was my attempt at a preview of the grind and something else that won't be fully revealed until one is ready. :D

Bush crafters and camp knife are drool worthy

Thanks! I'm really happy with the way they are all coming together.

Thanks for the Update, Daniel.

Thanks! We will! I'm currently watching Sesame Street with umm.. by myself. :D

I'm going to try to get some work done but not too much. Those camp knives are 60-61RC and kicking my butt! I might work on laminating some handle material.

I spend about 5-10 minutes per photo just to get all the details possible! Thanks for the weekend pump up, Daniel!:thumbup:

Nice work bro! I've been in a funk, just not feeling right, lately so no desire to start a project right now. I'm mad jealous of your singular focus and determination! Keep it up dude, rock on!

Thanks! This is all I do and I love it, gotta feed the family too! :D I'd make knives no matter what, I'm always looking forward to the next new design or trying to make each one better.

I'm not trying to make crazy expensive auction knives or crank out mass made run of the mill items... I want to be a real cutler, old school style. ...Make tons of knives until I can do it with my eyes closed! The best knives you can use...

Super cool. You are making it harder and harder for me to wait for the friction folders, sir!

You know you can't post a tease pic like that without some questions, so what are those two sexy curved swords second and third from the left? And that mondo big sword in the pic?

Sesame Street, huh? You need Spongebob!:D

Thanks! I try!

The frickies will be out sometime soon, I ordered materials a ways back and expect them soon,

Love them all, but especially the bushcraft knives. Lookin' awesome!

Thanks! I'm finishing the sheaths soon and they will be ready to go!

You might know the middle sized sword... I tested it and still need to finish it. The smaller one is also 1075 steel, both were brine quenched too!

The big one on the right is a 24" S7 Steel Wakizashi that I need to send off for HT, it is just a bit too big for my kiln. I have a larger sword and want to do one more katana before I send them in.

I'll have to get back on those, I ran out of wrapping material for a while and they got shuffled around.

The board...

I have two rigging knives, a chopper, the two swords/tantos in 1075, my Legal EDC Patterns (reg and mini), 2 just profiled 3V Backpackers, 2 slim .315" A2 tantos, the Camp Knives, 2 Nakiri, the Waki, a bottle opener and finally a Chef's knife I just ground yesterday

OK, the longer one on the left, one inside from far edge, the Waki-looking blade........ What is that and is it spoken for?

Board full of win dude. I can never see enough WIP pics!
I'd call that a board full of a whole lotta want, and a whole lotta hard work!

I'm completely lovin' those two 1075 sword/tantos. And that S7 sword. And those A2 tantos. And...!!!

Lots of good stuff there Daniel. You've got your work cut out for you this weekend. And next week!
