Weekend Update!

OK, the longer one on the left, one inside from far edge, the Waki-looking blade........ What is that and is it spoken for?

1075 Waki, Brine Quenched, Chisel Grind... if I recall correctly it is a hollow main grind, flat ground swedge and convex tip. Really thick (.300?) and I forget the exact length, I think 18" or just over.

I've been working on it for a while, I should finish it up! Right now I have two 18" small swords available...

I'd call that a board full of a whole lotta want, and a whole lotta hard work!

I'm completely lovin' those two 1075 sword/tantos. And that S7 sword. And those A2 tantos. And...!!!

Lots of good stuff there Daniel. You've got your work cut out for you this weekend. And next week!

Thanks! The whole board probably represents 100 hours at the minimum... about 12 are from this week too! :D

This week...
6 Camp Knives in 3/16" O1 Steel at 61 RC (man that was a lot of steel to grind!)
2 Nakiri - one has a day into the grind and still needs another... the second is not ground but will be a lot simpler! I ground a back hollow or Ura into the one...
Chef's Knife - Deba influenced... perhaps the simplest looking and one of toughest grinds I have done.. pics later!
Other stuff too, I have been in the shop a ton recently...

I know you'll like the A2 tantos, they are a bit like the last ones but longer
