Reese Weiland Sabre Claw with a Tom Krein regrind
Specs:
Overall length - 8.125"
Blade length - 3.375"
Blade steel - S30V
Handle material - 6AL4V Titanium
Blade grind - FFG w/high hollow secondary bevel
Blade thickness - just a hair under 3/16 at it's thickest(sorry no caliper)
Very slight side to side play,No vertical play
There are a few light scratches on the pocket clip from carry & light marks on the Ti from handling.The blade is in perfect shape.The action is smooth & the lockup is crisp & tight.The blade is a little off-centered but it doesn't rub the side or affect the action at all.I sent this to Reese & he sent it back just like this & same as when I sent it to Tom.I tried multiple times to center it,but it just won't budge*.
*edited to add:Although it was on both makers bench at one time I should mention that I never ASKED either one of them to recenter the blade.
