I am not sure what the 'warm BFC welcome' Mike is talking about. Sometimes it gets really hot around here. A good edge quench in oil followed by a liquid nitrogen Freeze often does the trick.

Welcome! I've been impressed with the knife/legal information listed on your own web site, as well as your publications. Having a person of your knowledge and expertise on BF will be a great asset.
