I'm on this formum because I like talking about knives, plus there are a few other survival topics that I find interesting.
I've only dipped into the political arena once and it was more work than it was worth. This medium is all too easy to have your point taken the wrong way. There are too many weird and wonderful views out their to fight. I'm just pleased I don't speak German; but then thats the Swiss in me, which is another story.
I will admit I'm biased towards CRK's.
Also other smaller high cost manufacturers. Much because I enjoy a standard of living to do so. I look towards the USA knife scene because its there where most of the action is. The British market is minute and in the dark ages. The French however love their custom stuff as do some of the Scandinavians. Fashion, tradition, culture and styles add to the mix, which makes the subject so interesting. When you can't handle a knife, you can at least hear others opinions; just filter out some of the dross that inevitably does show up. We all have to start somewhere, it wasn't so long ago when I was wet behind the ears. I'm still learning.
