So I just wanted to let you guys know I will be posting an extensive review of this blade asap. But after a day with this, it is only rivaled by my Bura's... If he posts more blades have your wallet and your trigger finger ready cause this shark will be chomping :P
 
all this fanfare as made me ask for a custom hanshee by purna, here is to hoping order is accepted ! sounds like he is going to be a great addition to the HI line up-- what is his kami mark?

Somehow i figured that one would bring Bookie out of the closet! That might be the answer to your lighter Curved Spine. My Yek is about the same size but only 21 ounces. That one looks like a great all around size.

Just a bit of a description before my review... lol I have to break out my macro photography skills to demonstrate this fully; but to put it in words... The finishing work on this is of such high quality and such painstaking attention was paid to every single detail that a blind person would be unable to feel the riveting or where the steel of the chiruwa handle line stops and the wood begins. Also the finish on this is so highly polished it reflects a flawless image. It is very sharp, but is not the sharpest HI blade I have.

To put it simply I am blown away...

Well I congratulate you on that one! I certainly hope there are more coming. I love to see the traditional dropped handles and mid weights like that showing up. Im just astounded with the quality of Kami HI has secured. They are definitely in good times!

The Yek Chirra I ordered last week should be here today. It's by the new kami too. I am anxiously awaiting the 17in 30oz light saber (thanks for the name Steely). The pictures were amazing, the real deal must be awe inspiring.
