Greetings. I came here a year ago to post a message to say I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing, and am still here over a thousand postings later :)

I am also from the UK, born in Birmingham, and via Hertfordshire, Worcestershire, Scotland, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Cornwall am now living in Canada!

I also collect knives, bayonets, fighting knives, and Japanese swords.

You won't find better Khukris than HI. Look out for Deals of the Day.

This has been my approach so far. I basically go for the ones that call to me in some way. I am up to 8 khukuris - all different models.

I remember asking the forum seriously for their advice as to what my first khuk should be. LOL! Someone told me that it didn't matter because I would just end up wanting to get them all. How right they were. Silly me, I thought that once I got one of every type (not necessarily one of every length, just general type) from the HI store that I would be done and move on. Who knew the infernal kami's would keep making new models! :D
