I just wanted to say hello to all you knife nuts. I hope my time here will be well spent.:)

welcome. you will find that your money gets spent more than time here though. leave now while the leaving is good. ;)

thegeek is spot on!

Guard your wallet well! Soon those $150 knives will seem like a great deal!

Welcome to Bladeforums!

You'll also find an abundance of topics covering knives for every budget, every purpose, and every imaginable origin.

Welcome aboard. One word of advice: read a lot, post a little. At least at first, once you feel like you have a good grasp on things, post a bit more!

Enjoy your time here. A word of advice; get some good tools for your knives at the start, or you'll end up wasting money on cheap things that fall apart or don't work, and have to get better tools later anyway (what happened to me). I'd recommend getting a Wiha torx driver set (make sure it has T6, T8, and T10), a Spyderco Sharpmaker sharpener, and Shooter's Choice FP-10 grease for the pivot. There are some higher end sharpening options, too...
