Welding heat for AEB-L

Doe anyone know how hot you have to get AEB-l to forge weld it to itself? I know that you would have to weld the seams or put it in a box, but what kind of temperature are we talking about to weld it and draw it out?

I have no idea but if I wanted to know I'd contact Devin Thomas. I bet he's welded more AEB-L than anyone on the planet. He's also a nice guy and easy to talk to.
