well dropped my ZT 0200

never had to grind a knife, how would i do it?

Judging from your photo, it would take minimal effort.
I would use a sharpie and black out what you want to remove.
just bring the cutting edge up to the spine so you don't lose any more length, and very lightly touch it up to a bench grinder or even a belt sander.
After you get it roughed in, use diamond stones to finish it and blend the cutting edge.
Or you could just send it to Kershaw.

Coarse sharpening stone + 5 1/2 hours + elbow grease =

Nice job with re-profiling the broken tip. Props for manually grinding that out on a stone!

Incredible job there Myer's....I'd be proud of a job that looked like that. I don't think it can get any better than that.

From what I am reading, I'd send it in to ZT and be glad you bought from a company that will work with you even when you did the damage. You even have somebody with influence willing to give it personal attention. I'd say that is way above and beyond the call of duty.

this should only have to be said once. one of the reasons we get Kershaw and ZT knives is because we know the warrenty is Awesome and Unconditional. the only blades not covered are the ones with the four x's that are seconds. what part do you not understand?

thanks for your time
