Well here I go again...

Smoke sent, and may you find peace and strength from within. I have serious arthritis in my neck, and have been nursing it for quite some years. Its a bummer, but somehow I keep life going forward with it.

Mas Smoke from the desert Yvsa hope all goes well. I'm doing nerve block epidural injections trying to avoid surgey myself unfortunately they don't seem to be working as well as i hoped

Special prayers from Pala, kamis and I

The weight loss has got to help big time I'm sure Yvsa, just as you said. I hope they can finally get this whipped for you once and for all.

It sucks to not be able to bench your normal 300 lbs. or so, I know. ;)

Smoke and prayers from here for sure. Please let us know when the surgery is scheduled and how it goes.

Norm

Thanks for all the smoke and well wishes my friends, they are much appreciated! My neurosurgeon said his office would get in touch with me with more information when feasible. I already had appointments with my cardiologist and other Dr's fairly soon so I didn't have to scramble to get them set up. I found out a long time ago that it doesn't pay to get in any hurry when you're being scheduled for surgery as it will happen as things unfold on their own sweet time.;) :)

Hollowdweller I was an automatic screw machine mechanic/setup, leadman the last few years of my career. I worked at my trade for thirty five years and loved my work even though I didn't always like my job. ;) :grumpy:
Even though I was in a low management position I was still expected to work and make my quota daily when I wasn't working on or repairing a screw or bar machine. The last couple of years I worked were the ones that really did my back in because I was into some really heavy machine repair and conversion with lots of heavy lifting and straining.:grumpy:
What finally broke my back was one day I was lifting a heavy gear with my left arm and trying to stab a shaft through it with my right hand and arm. Twisting while lifting something really heavy is never a good idea for anyone but trying to get anyone broke loose from their job long enough to help was like trying to pull hen's teeth. :grumpy:

Glad to hear the two fused OK. Hopefully, the surgery will resolve everything sooner than later.

Smoke and prayers.

Prayers and best wishes from north New Zealand bro .Hope your surgery goes well and that you make a full recovery

Aw, Yvsa! I hope it all goes well and you come out of surgery 150% better than before. Best wishes from Seattle!

Smoke rising, Yvsa. Take care, you hear? You're right, though. Being in better shape and good spirits can make all the difference in the world. Especially with surgery and stuff, better shape and good vibes really can change the outcome.

Keep it up, and we'll help on our end.

Chris
