Well here I go again.

Yvsa,
Smoke and prayers going up.
I hope that the bond holds this time and you can stay out of pain.:(

Smoke and prayers from HI and Kamis.

Deeply sorry to hear, Yvsa. :( Enough is enough. We know you're tough already; I'll tell the spirits further testing of you is unnecessary and a waste of their time.

Best, smoke and crossed fingers.

Mike

Dear Yvsa,

Your Chitlangi Bowie Knife has finely arrived! I am sending it to welcome you home from hospital. Best whises and fast recovery.

Many thanks gang! :) Smoke, Prayer, and Positive Thoughts most appreciated.:D
I'm not as anxious over this one like I was the last one although maybe I should be but as my Dr. says, "The really dangerous parts have been done."
I'm mostly concerned with the amount and degree of pain I'm going to have since basically I'm getting two surgeries in one and an incision in the front, and back, sure isn't going to be any fun!!!! :(

And many thanks Yangdu!!!! :D I had totally forgotten about the Chitlangi Bowie that we talked about with a nine inch blade and all steel furniture!!!! What a pleasant knife to be here when I get home and I know it'll be envied by a lot of folks here as one like it has been talked about by a lot of us.
When I recover enough I'll do some pics and write a review.
It may be a while though.;)

Just remember ... chicks love a good dueling scar!

Uh, that's what my first girlfriend told me ...

Like this one my friend? Thing is it has healed so well the scar is barely visible. ;) :D
Maybe if he used my 17" Foxy Folly and just went straight through it would save me a lot of trouble and being asleep I wouldn't know about it.:D

All that trouble -- and the scar goes away!!

Don't worry, we still think you're manly! :)

Smoke headed your way from Sand Springs tonight and I'll try and send some your way while testing in Western OK later this week.

Marc Adkins

I have to go back in for surgery again this Monday.:( My weak spinal bones have let a couple of the screws in my neck back out from the last surgery and without the support of the clamp the space the Dr. had made collapsed and is letting my spine press on the nerves going to my hands.
Methinks there are other things the collapse has triggered as well because my feet have started swelling again and I am having the same pains I had before the last surgery.
This time my Dr. is going back in through the front so he can repair that damage and then they will turn me over and go through the back of my neck and put in screws and rods too support my neck from the back side.
Dr. says it will be about a four hour surgery and that I will be twice as uncomfortable as I was the last time and that was horrible so I hope he gives me enough drugs to keep me half way comfortable anyway. :grumpy: We have talked about it briefly and will talk about it again Monday morning so I am hopeful.;)
I'm sure not looking forward to it but it has to be done, as I can't let it heal the way it is now or I would have even more trouble in the future. Sure is a long row to hoe though and I'm sure getting tired...:(
We have to be at the Tulsa Spine and Specialty Hospital at 11:00 a.m. and my surgery is scheduled tentatively for 2:00 p.m. No supper for me Monday.:( ;)

Best of luck to you, Yvsa. It's not an easy row to hoe, I'm sure, but here's hoping surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery.

SMOKE up for you Yvsa!!!!!!!
