Well...I did it.

Congratulations. Show some pics when you get a chance. Please share your early impressions.

First Impressions:

I feel like this is the knife I have been buying, selling, and trading to get but never was satisfied. I really like the Benchmade 940 series but for some reason I just can't trust that axis lock's tiny springs and the knife didn't inspire the same kind of confidence my small Sebenza does. I was worried about it being too small but it's actually perfect size. Great for EDCing and feels solid/substantial in hand. I have HUGE hands and they are not a problem at all. This knife will work in an office setting as well as the outdoors or wherever. I love it.

Carried like a champ yesterday. My parents are in town and my father was handling the knife. He really liked it as well. I've bought his last 3 pocket knives and have gotten him into modern folders. I may have to get him a CRK soon. :)

Give him the one you have-You only get 1 Dad.
You can always get another knife-
Wish my Dad was still around.

He told me today he would never carry it/work with it because it cost so much. I think I would like to get him one with some inlays for dress or the Mnandi. He loves his Benchmade I got him. :)

It sounds like a dressy Mnandi would be perfect for your Father.

Excellent Father and Son portrait. Great that you can share this interest. BTW... All great men are leftys.

It's too bad they all didn't always believe that. He has horror stories of teachers forcing him to use his right hand. He's pretty ambidextrous but he strongly prefers using his left hand.

I'll be getting a small CRK pretty soon to compare it to my large Insingo.

I don't have a large CRK but before getting my small 21 I carried a Benchmade 710. The small 21 fills my pocket, my hand, and my needs perfectly. I have XXL hands but the small 21 is fine by me. It's an excellent companion in your every day travels. :)
