Nice summary of the side effects of swimming in the waters here. Maybe we should amend the title of the sticky thread to “Law of the Sharks, Rules, Tips, Tricks, and Kool-Aid Warning.”

I appreciate the compliment on my watermelon collection pictures. That was fun to set up. I had the idea for a while, but I had to wait for the right yellow melons to be in season.

Well it’s Friday morning on the Fiddleback forum again as I type this. Good luck to all the new Sharks swimming in the Kool-Aid ocean today. Hang in there if you miss the one you want. They will make more and your day will come with practice and luck.

Congratulations on an excellent first choice malada. I love the old school spalting and the classic look of the handle configuration. I also really like that distressed finish and color on the sheath. I will send a copy of that picture to Rick Lowe to duplicate that look on my next sheath from him.

Thanks for posting the pictures. Everyone likes more pictures on this forum. You are going to fit in just fine around here. Have a good hunting trip.

Very nice choice malada! The Recluse has class and a simple understated elegance that makes it one of my favorite models to use.
 
I concur with mistwalker malada, the Recluse is a very functional all purpose design. You can't go wrong with RLO leather either. The spalting on your example is quite attractive, itsa keeper!
