Glad to hear the alox vic worked out for you, Chris. Their great knives. As much as I like old yellowed stag and bone, I freely admit that for the price and quality that Victorinox solo/settler models can't be beat. They do everything a pocket knife has to, don't cost alot, and are about as bullet proof a product you can get. And if by some chance they do go south, the Victorinox warrentee is as bullet proof as the knife.

Might not be a bad idea to have a spare. I was told once by a respected elder, that if I find something I really like, and it works well, then buy another just in case.
