Not sure why it took so long, have way more $$ in guns I get to shoot 2-3 times a month. Use a knife 4+ days a week. Always used an ultratech and been very pleased. Traded into a Sebenza today, dear god. Always heard you can just feel the quality, never understood it til I played with this one. Was planning on it being a catch and release. Instead it has created a problem... Exceptionally nice knife. Feels like a fixed blade when locked. Opening/closing are extremely smooth. Lightweight. Carries like a dream. Makes my junk tingle a little everytime I yank it out of the pocket and open it a few times. Feels like when I first got my P7. A knife I have looked at for a long time and could not more highly recommend.

Welcome to the sickness :)
CRK has been all I carry for about 7 years. I've tried a few others but always go back to the CRK, it really truly is the finest made- but you know that now ;)

I'm at 14 right now and I still get that tingle.

I know what you mean.I just got my 940 yesterday. You don't think you are going to spend that much money until you feel real quality and then you quit complaining.

It's hard to understand "quality you can feel" till you get to mess with one. They aren't for everyone but, the quality is exceptional.
Just resist the urge to buy more for as long as possible.

I feel bad for you....real bad, down right sick for you right now......

Because I know first hand what happens after the fist one, the sickness gets a hold of you. :)

Congrats enjoy it.

Congratulations!!!!!!
It is a superb knife, I carry one every day and that warm, fuzzy feeling has yet to elude me. You have entered into another realm of knife ownership. The service CRK provides is outstanding.

I'm honored to have been the one to light the fire... It starts as a small flame and soon progresses to a full out inferno!

Every knife lover should have at least one Seb :D so as to properly gauge the knife world.
Congrats!

I'm sort of in the same boat. Never owned any sebenzas but have plenty of other $300+ knives. It's been quite tempting to pick one up lately. Might have to sell off some knives and dip my foot in the sebenza water.

Tough to explain it honestly. Looks nice obviously. But it's holding it, flicking it open, closing it might be the most satisfying, perfectly smooth and balanced. Every other knife I have held up until this point feels frail compared to this knife, yet it's not too mall ninja to use for daily task around the office folk... Though a small sebbie with some inlays may be in order for that use anyway. Every single inch of this knife oozes thoughtfulness, craftsmanship and perfect execution. Absolutely in love, CRK has gotten themselves another kool-aid drinking devotee.

Love my Sebbes. CRK has created a few addicts over the years I'm thinking. I can remember getting my first one and thinking the same thing. I guess I get it now, finish perfect, feel perfect and it feels like a damn fixed blade when it's locked. BM are not junk and those where the nicest up to that point and the Sebenza ruined me. Congrats, truly, and enjoy it. It will truly last a lifetime. I rotate 3 larges about monthly. Amongst others. I have knives that where 3 times the cost but if it hit the fan and I carried one I would be hard pressed not to pick a Sebenza.

Funny reading the OP. I am totally in the same boat. I almost hit the flipper on a Sebanza, but did a XM-18. It is my first "real" folder. I have had the ESEE's fixed blades for years. I use them hunting and fishing. (A real tool) But the best folder I have had was a midlevel, or should I say medieval, Gerber. I thought $60 for a folder knife was a lot! lol Once you feel the quality of the Hinderer it opens your eyes to what may be out there. I look at some of these beefy custom folders and I can only imagine how nice they feel.

Oneday! :)

Congratz!
I love the Sebenza.
lmk if it's still your favorite folder in 3 months. Darn knives! :D
