Well, I got a Sebenza today...

Haha that's not too far off.

I kicked the first one, but the sebenza still flows through my veins daily :p

We need a 12 step program, and sponsor system.

" hi I'm tony, and it's been 14 days since my last large 21 raindrop cgg . "

Not sure why it took so long, have way more $$ in guns I get to shoot 2-3 times a month. Use a knife 4+ days a week. Always used an ultratech and been very pleased. Traded into a Sebenza today, dear god. Always heard you can just feel the quality, never understood it til I played with this one. Was planning on it being a catch and release. Instead it has created a problem... Exceptionally nice knife. Feels like a fixed blade when locked. Opening/closing are extremely smooth. Lightweight. Carries like a dream. Makes my junk tingle a little everytime I yank it out of the pocket and open it a few times. Feels like when I first got my P7. A knife I have looked at for a long time and could not more highly recommend.

Welcome to the CRK world, and indeed your observation is spot on. I purchased, sold, purchased, sold, but then decided there isn't a better option than the Sebenza. It is truly an engineering marvel. Enjoy it in good health.

When I got my first Sebenza, I thought to myself, since I'm lefty I'll be able to resist the urge since they are not that easy to come by left handed. In less than a few weeks i got 4 more LH ones.
Now there is one in my pocket every time.

I had 2 hinderer and 3 crk. A grail popped up, and guess what I sold ;) lol
But I do love them both.
Crk has more of a simplistic beauty. While the xm are more tactical looking.
Both tough as nails, but I agree. I wouldn't call one better or worse.

I've got 2, a small Insingo and a large 25. Had a half dozen in the past. Great knife... BUT... It's still a "factory knife".

For the same price you can get some GREAT custom made folders... and have a piece of work from an artist.

Just my 2 cents

Gratz...

I have a P7 M8 that I have had since the 1980's......and a VP70z :)

I'm trying to convince my girlfriend (soon to be fiancé) to let me put a Sebenza on our wedding registry...

She gets a diamond! It's only fair.
Say " I want to cut the cake with the most perfect knife made, to represent starting our lives together, with nothing but the best. " :)
