Because I finally bought a ESEE/RC-4.:D
I bought it 5 minutes ago and the postman is already late getting it here.
now I play the waiting game.

Your knives are awesome......:p

Yup, been there done that. :) Part of the rite of passage to become a Knife addict ya know. :D

Gonna love the RC-4, great blade and tough as anything you would need. Congrats.

To help pass the time, you could always print out a photo of your new ESEE and put it in your pocket. When you start to feel sad you can pull out the photo and imagine yourself holding it! :D ..... Oh, and just make sure no one is looking. :o

I was fooling around with mine a while back and it was due for a sharpening so I convexed it. Had no idea what I was doing, but it turned out nice. I like it even more now! Probably my favorite RAT for sure.

Oh the wait, that's the one thing all us RAT Packers dread! You can always camp out on the front lawn and confront the mailman as he comes up everyday.....lol!

Waiting is kind of fun..expecially when u have a few on order.. I have a HEST coming and thinking of pulling a trigger on a RC-4... Its kind of like Christmas!!

I agree! Waiting for a knife gives you something to look forward to and it's the coolest thing ever to see the box in your mailbox:D

congrats on the new knife!

I don't mean to derail this thread but could you post some pictures of your blade with the convex edge some time? I don't know a lot about convex edges but I'm interested in seeing how much of the finish you have to grind away to get a smooth, gradual, convex edge on these ESEE knives
