Well, It's Back Home Now

Nothing like those photos of a well used Fiddleback.

Big Mike

It's going on three years old now and definitely well used! This thing has whittled a few spoons...and spoon like objects...made a few complete bow drill sets, and prepped a lot of food It has also prepped many fires including me testing my daughter on starting fire under wet conditions with no advice from me. It has processed several blue gill for cooking over a fire, a good bit of small game, and a few deer. It has handled it all like a champ!

Great pics as always Mist. I really need to get a Bushfinger...although, it might make me give up making knives!

Fantastic photos mist.. that Bushfinger has aged very gracefully. I have quite a few different options, but the only knife that gets any use is the woods is my Bushcrafter. I hope it looks as good after 3 seasons as this beauty does!

Thanks man. Why would you let it do that? I love mine, but it did not make me stop liking other knives :D

Yep, it's going through it's third winter this year, and still going strong and looking great doing it :)

Keep on coming back to this thread. :)

Like Andy always says:

"Knifes is to be used, else what's a heaven for?"

or something like that. :)

Life brings its own texture to quality tools, and enriches them. Fiddleback Forge knives carry their history well.

I just don't see me owning a knife I am afraid to use. I'd have to get rid of it quick because I'd use it anyway. Andy's knives definitely age very well.
