Interesting twist that If you go a sharking for the kitchen knives, then you can only fish with one rod instead of the usual three rod limit. At least that's how I read it. You can't say Padre, Mosquito, Runt. Just Padre.

I do not think that is how it is meant. I think it is only one kitchen knife per person in this thread, but other knives can likely be sharked with them.

I also read it this way, but figured it was just to keep it so someone couldn't shark all 3 kitchen knives.

Argh, finally a Handyman that I like and now Bladeforums is timing out for me. Hopefully all of the Padre blood in the water will distract you guys from it for long enough... :)
 
padre = 5" blade just under 9 1/2" OAL
sando= approx 6 7/8" blade & just under 12 1/2" OAL
