My computer is relatively new and I get that delay as well. I got it in last Friday's thread and mine was the 4th post.

I think it's an issue with Bladeforums.
 
Thanks Abe. It varies for me between about 7 seconds and a solid 15+. I was shooting for that new Loveless in green burlap on Allen's thread last Wednesday - posted within a split second of when the thread opened, and watched helplessly for 10+ seconds while everything just stalled.

He's got a few more coming, and I want to be ready.
 
It happens from time to time, depending on forum traffic. Though I tend to have great luck, I have had times in the past when I hit submit and after 10 seconds of refreshing the replies were already 2-3 pages deep.

I think if it is a frequent occurrence for you and you see something you really must have - those are the time to proxy shark. Otherwise, it's just part of the fun.
 
I've had moderate success with Tapatalk on my iPhone 6S. My PC Is old too and the iPhone refreshes way faster... I've been threatening to upgrade to a Mac or maybe a Linux based PC

+1 on the longfellow... It's a rare bird and I absolutely love mine from earlier this year - blade shape, height and belly fills a gap between the tall, guardless bushfinger and the pointy excellence of the kephart for me.
 
Good afternoon fellow sharks. I'm in a long-distance drive and only managed to get a glimpse of what's offered but it looks like some interesting stuff! Hoping to get a better look at the next rest stop
