Well...It's Friday...

'tis was a good week for the Flea market, lots of activity. Glad I held out and was too slow so I could play today!
 
Bush-Hacker, what kind of blade are you going for? I'd love to snag some double bolstered camp knife.
 
I'd really like to see a tapered Kephart that jumps out at me. Otherwise, nothing in particular. I nice SP, Woodsman, Bushfinger are all fair game.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that I don't miss the action. I've got 75' of deck railing to put up/sand today, so I hope my refresh timing on the phone works out.
 
This is my first Friday participating in this sub forum. I.T. has already had to bring me a couple of new keyboards...seems my F5 key keeps dying. Kind of weird that I'm acting kind of childish in a way, and so excited. It's like Christmas again for grown ups. I will confess to taking up too much time through out the day checking my phone and computer, and I feel guilty about how much time I wasted. I can't check in here this much on future Fridays, but for my first one, what the heck. Just posting my random thought as I sit back down at my desk and hit F5.
 
I believe something similar to this can be done in TapaTalk... maybe I'll write up a tutorial ;)

Once the thread is started it is too late...and tapasuck drains the hell out of my battery.

We need an app that tells us when Andy logs on to post. Is that creepy enough?
 
time, data logging, reconnaissance, and persistence. That's about it... oh, and a good network connection / fast backhaul! One can be first whenever they want using this general strategy; I've tested it on a few FBFs just posting "nice batch Andy" just to test my setup. It also helps if you block off your afternoon as well ;)

In all seriousness, some folks actually catalog fotki and FBF posting times and calculate an aggregate confidence score for predicting the post time; I've heard that some of these folks have gotten within a few minutes of the actual post time -- this dramatically helps when you can tighten your shot group that concisely.

Or you can buy a few dozen cheap usb keyboards from monoprice, and mash F5 from 1000EST-1700EST.. that works too!

If only my math teachers would of told me about this throughout school I might have paid more attention.
 
Agreed -- I slept through a lot of school with people nagging me that "one day you will use this in the real world"... boy were they right :P
