Well...It's Friday...

I have a custom fire pit... check out www.virginiafirepit.com, tell Duke Will from Wild Magnolia told you about them! :) I also collect rocks from all my outdoor outings... canoe trips, camping trips, and yes even hikes. I've been know to carry a 5 pound rock 3 days! Those rock carry good stories, good memories and good karma!

I've actually been contemplating doing this very task. i've found a few nice easy DIY projects taht simply invlove some cement blocks to round, granite stone filler, and a simple standing fire pit. Cost around $150 bucks or less. Just google how to build a fire pit and take a look at the ones for This old house, and lowes. i think i'm gonna merge the two ideas together to make a simple pit a little more elegant and sturdier.

We have now entered the quiet before the storm, the only sound being the furious rumble of the refresh keys of dozens of keyboards....

Today promises to be a special double shot Fiddleback Friday in that last weeks knives will be "Out for Delivery" today for many of us, plus we'll have a chance to see which new Fiddleback's will be dropped into the Shark Tank. Looks like Andy & his Crew have been busy so gear up fellow Sharks

Refresh.....Splash....Chomp !

Are you hunting something specific today, or just on the prowl?

Michael

Have to wait until today's offerings are posted before I have any sense of what might be worth sharking. I believe Bud indicated that certain knives are being held back for a Black Friday event so we'll have to be patient ;)

Man, 31 days so far! I feel for you buddy. I lived in Italy for a while and I used to complain that the Italians didn't keep the carrots fresh enough for their mail delivery mules. Do they use donkeys or mules to deliver in Bolivia? :D

I think the Bolivians have chosen a more native delivery animal . . . the sloth!

Lol y'all crack me up. 30 days is plenty normal for a lot of deliveries in Asia but in Philippines they tell you not to worry until you hit the 4 month mark lol. The cheapest shipping method usually takes 2 - 4 months.

Surprised there isn't a freight forwarder that y'all could use. That's how I get all my stuff in Phils and that is usually around 2 weeks. It's more expensive but it skips customs somehow so it winds up being cheaper by the end usually. Plus, it shows up during the same season lol

Sadly 30 days is normal here too. The cheapest method normally takes 1-3 months here. I've just been spoiled because some stuff recently has arrived in just over 2 weeks! So it's got my hopes up and makes me anxious when it takes longer :D

I don't know of any freight forwarders that live in my city. Everything that enters Bolivia comes through the 2 largest cities and gets distributed from there. Regular USPS is the only way I know of to not get stuck forever in Customs. All other shipping methods gets stuck there and it's awful. They are crooks! The only package I lost that I'm aware of, got stuck in the bureaucratic mess that they call customs here. All it was was a new horn for my truck! Bunch of theives!

2:45 today folks!

That little knife in the early photos is the 3rd knife Andy ever made. He's putting it up for sale today for the cool sum of $1,500.

A sweet batch today. Lots of pine cone goodness, and that BEB Nessmuk would make a sweet pair with the one from last week.

Oh and I'll take the Loveless Drop Point Alan, k thanks.

help for a newbie....are both of those big knives (pictured together) camp knives? just curious...not real familiar with the bigger knives...
