As many of you know, for the last couple weeks I have been waiting for a little situation to be resolved. I was mistakenly shipped a KnifeArt
CF Sebenza, when I ordered a CF Inlay Sebenza from BladeHQ... Thomas from BHQ called me and said they now had the correct knives, and if
I still wanted one, he would get it shipped out... Heck yeah :D

When I was talking to him on the phone he told me that CRK had shipped a new design ball cap they just came out with, that hasn't been released
to the public yet, to be shipped with the knife as an apology. In all fairness, they have already apologized, but I certainly appreciate the hat...
The hat on the left is the new design. The hat on the right is one that I ordered with my knife.

So, anywho, today I received the correct knife... :D When I opened the box and saw the knife for the first time, I couldn't believe my eyes.
This thing is freakin beautiful. Don't get me wrong, I also really liked the KA CF knife, but this is totally different.
I could type for a couple hours about this knife, but I won't put you through that :D So, her she is...

Well worth the wait I would say!

And the hats are really nice too. Congrats man.

Congrats Mike! May it give you many, many great years. Beautiful knife!

I love the new hat too.

OP, now that you have handled both CF versions, tell us what you think; I am on the fence for the KA half CF but seeing the CF inlay has set me back to: "what should I do...." Does the half CF give you any kind of imbalance because the weight difference from show side to lock side? Does the inlay one fill your hand better? Does the half CF feel as solid and sound wise is it still the signature CRK clink? Or it gets muffled a bit by the CF?

The cf knife is nice but the ine you have here is amazing. Its so classy with the titanium and the cf inlays. Beautiful knife. Crazy mix up but glad it all worked out.

Congrats Mike!

Now put it to work and report back with your thoughts. I don't have a CF inlay yet, so I will have to live vicariously through your experiences :p

So, I hope it was well worth the wait after all this time for you to finally have one in your possession.
Now, don't just look at it, go use it. Congratulations Mike, it's a gorgeous CRK !!!!!

Congrats Mike!

She's a beauty, and class move on BHQ's part - good folks there.

Enjoy your new CRK!

Congratulations at long last! Sleep with her in your pocket tonight. Wear PJs. It's worth it!

:D I may have to run down to the Wallymart and pick some up, just for the experience....

Congrats Mike! May it give you many, many great years. Beautiful knife!

I love the new hat too.

Thanks Cory

And it's marvelous!

Send me one of those hats! ;)

Thanks Cody. There is one more hat I need to order. It looks like the one on the right, but it is tan. I was going to order both at the same time, but
forgot. They will see lots of us because I live in hats...

Awesomeness! Great pics, too.

Oh, and welcome to the sickness! :D :D

Thanks LW. There may be some Benchmades coming up for sale in the Exchange, because I'm already looking for my next CRK :o

Nice score!

Thanks

That is a fantastic knife!! Congrats!!

Thanks. I'm hooked :D

That is a very nice CF inlay. Very nice. BladeHQ HQ is about 5 miles from me. I'm gonna have to go check one out in person.

I was texting with another member ( BMC ) about this earlier this evening. First, I really like the KA knife, and will no doubt order one soon.
It is a very solid knife, and granted I didn't get to use that knife, it felt to me that the full cf scale would give decent traction. The KA is certainly lighter feeling,
but both being smalls, neither is heavy....

Whether it is coincidence or by design, the inlay knife is dramatically smoother and easier to open and close. I am guessing over time the KA would also become smoother and easier to open.

I have a weakness for cf, and I do like the look of the KA knife, but the inlay knife with the polished flats and blade is a totally different critter.
I have owned a lot of different knives over the years, but I have never had one that made me feel like this when I opened the box.

In my mind, the cf inlay knife fills my hand better. I have big hands, and there is definitely a difference. The KA feels fine, but as soon as I took
this knife out of the box, it just felt right.

The cf knife is nice but the ine you have here is amazing. Its so classy with the titanium and the cf inlays. Beautiful knife. Crazy mix up but glad it all worked out.

Thanks. It was a strange mixup, but all is well, and it was well worth the wait :D

Congrats Mike!

Thanks Bill.... This one will be getting used. It has already been in pocket for our trip to the store, but I didn't think the people at Walmart
would appreciate me randomly cutting open a bunch of fertilizer bags :D

Once I've had a chance to carry and use it, let me know if you want and I will send it over to you to check out...

So, I hope it was well worth the wait after all this time for you to finally have one in your possession.

Thanks. I appreciate the compliment. I'm like a kid at Christmas :D

Congrats! Nice hats too!

Thanks Andy. Other than the original brief disappointment, this entire ordeal was handled very professionally, and I have nothing but great things to say about both companies.
While the hat wasn't necessary, it is certainly appreciated, and both the knife and hat already have a story to them :D
BHQ and CRK...

Nice... That will be fun. They have 4 or 5 different CF variations in stock as of this evening

Right on Mike. Glad it all worked out!
Man. Those carbon fiber inlayed sebs are some of best looking ones out there IMO.
