An inch is an awful lot, Darryl...especially when you're only 4 inches to begin with... ;) [size=-2](Just ask my last wife!)[/size] :rolleyes:

The Dorado = 2 1/2" blade; Alpha Hunter = 3 1/2"...I'd rather take a 277 Alpha...
 
...LOL...I'm gonna let someone more knowledgeable on the subject comment on "part" of your assertion here...:p ...but as for the knife itself, the best way to describe the size would be that it's over-all length is about as long as the scales on a 277. One of my son-in-laws likes my 277 but wanted something that was a bit more "pocketable"...When he saw the Dorado he felt it would be perfect as a user for him. He bought the 270 420HC model which has the black rubber scales and it's actually a lot bigger in fit and hand "feel" than I thought it would be. It's not a 277 but I do like it...Now...as to that "other" problem...LOL...I await the responses that may pile on here soon...LMAO...:D :D :eek:
