It will have been a month tomorrow since a check for $6750 was allegedly sent to me without tracking from Arizona custom knives.

That first check was cancelled and re-sent on the 24th of August.

STILL NOTHING!

Their lack of follow up or any real apparent concern for my money is very discouraging.

Why don’t you just have them wire it for the $75 fee? We are talking about a lot of money here.. why keep asking for a check?

Have them stop payment on the "replacement" check and demand they wire within two days. Call their local PD and file a complaint with the AZ AG.

did not think i'd have to

they already got $2250 dollars out of the deal, i'm not spending another red cent on top of the 25% commission they take
You’re kidding me.. right? You gave them 2250 but won’t give them 75 to ensure you securely receive nearly 7 grand? ummm.. ok

I trade equity volatility and dealt with Fedwire on an almost daily basis in a previous gig. I cannot imagine asking someone to cut me a check in this day and age. Esp to Canada. Ask to cover the stop payment and pay for a wire.

I think I found the guy. The one who buys a Ferrari and doesn’t pay the $200 for floor mats.

Actually it is their issue, who in there right mind sends that much money in the mail in the first place without tracking?
Your anger is causing you to act irrationally. Ask for another stop payment and THIS time WIRE it. I would never want a $7,000 check sent to me from another country.

The second check was sent with tracking, right? What does the tracking say?

I agree that the wire option would have been so much better. When the check finally arrives, your bank may hold the funds for some time, so you may be further delaying access to your money.
