I sold all my knife making gear and supplies today.
I sure had a grand time knowing you folks and will appreciate for the rest of my life the kindness you showed me!
I pray for the best life has to offer for you all!
Take care and God Bless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michael, may I ask why you want to quite....I was in the same boat last summer and sold some of my stuff but I could just not stop.....I am curious why you are giveing up altogether..I took a small break but I am coming back with a whole new style;)

Golly! Almost 4,500 posts, and then this little note! I mean, we'd certianly back you no matter what, but maybe there was something we could have done? I realize thought that you don't owe us an explaination at all, but it's sure sudden and final. God bless you on your new path, please check in with us every now and then. Take care friend!

Michael,
We've been friends on here a long time. I remember when you first signed on, about 6 months after I did in March of '99. I remember the "radial arm saw surface grinder idea". (No boys and girls, DO NOT try this at home!)

I also remember...
all the Hossom and Mayo threads...
Tim Herman's "Knifeshop on the Lake"?
That durned Supplier's List (that was Darrell's idea to begin with) that you helped me out with for the Leather section? Immeasurable help indeed.

Oh! I never sent you a pic of the knife I finished with that walrus tooth you sold me a couple of years ago...I will have to do that.

Always remember, you have friends here, pal. Come and visit...often.

Craig

Dang

I guess the bug didn't bite hard enough. unless its a money thing or something like that?
I can't imagine stopping , I'd feel like my left hand was missing..:(
good luck to you knife buddy...

Hey man, sorry to see you go. may i ask what happened...? this kinda feels to me like life's changin gears... am i wrong? any way you cut it, when the Lord leads, best thing you can do is follow diligently. May God bless you wherever he's leading you now.

Jeremiah 29:11.
