Well, my WE Elementum just showed up…

My Vapor and Kitefin have recessed screws: my Civivi Odium doesn't...

Civivi was an early adopter of recessed clip screws. I don't know when they started but now most of their models do it. They've also upgraded some of their older models to include this feature, such as more recent versions of the Baklash. The most recent Civivis I have that don't use recessed clip screws are the Chronic and Exarch.

Now it irks me when a knife has a deep-carry loop-over and does not recess the screws.

Coincidentally, Civivi also uses T8 body screws. That has been wonderful for those of us who like to take knives apart. :)

Day 1 of 7:
The knife reminds me of the benchmade bugout so I’ll do a size comparison.

Overall…

Thanks for the thoughtful review and pictures.

BTW, y'all inspired me to order a bunch of Skiff bearings to try out. Word on the street is that the 5mm, 1/16th, 11-ball size is compatible with lots and lots of Chinese-made knives. I also found the following spreadsheet tracking compatibility.
