Well, that hurt....(Warning Graphic)

Dang. It happens to the best of us. I had a buddy sharpen a sharpen his Mora Companion through his progress ( Suehiro 1000,5000,10000, and strop to .5 micron) then slice his hand wide open to where he had to get 15 stitches. Last week I cut myself with a Feather DE razor blade. Not fun. We never learn haha
 
Stabbed myself on the outside edge of my hand between my index and thumb with my brand new Benchmade Altitude messing with how tight the sheath is earlier tonight.

Had to superglue it up when I got home.

Yes I did, long story short, after I cut the back of my hand being an idiot I went to the hospital and a doctor gave me a few shots in the hand to numb it. He poked around for a second and said everything looks good (I got to look in there too, it was gnarly) and he sewed me up. Well a few weeks later I couldn't stretch my thumb out all the way. I made an appointment with a hand surgeon and he said I cut the tendon.

I was pissed. In the time that passed while the wound was healing the tendon shrunk. They had to cut a tendon from my wrist that was redundant in humans and reattach my thumb tendon. Physical therapy and the whole shebang.

Freaking lousy emergency room doctor.
