As you may know from my recent post on the kershaw forum, i just got a kershaw crown. so, i was in love at first sight. i knew instantly i wanted to EDC it. but, iwasnt too sure about its strength. im an outdoorsman, so it was going to be put through it's paces being my EDC. today was judgement day. i scraped with it, whittled down a sapling out in the woods, stabbed it into a tree to hang gun-earmuffs, sharpened sticks, carved, etc. it held up exceptionally. this knife rocks. if you were debating on whether or not to get one, DO IT. best 15 dollars ive spent in a long time. i like having knives im not afraid to "use and abuse". this knife blew me away at its quality for such a cheap price. i dont see this one breaking anytime soon. ill kepp you all posted over time with it as my EDC:D

From your title, I was expecting your post to go the other way! Nice to know the Crown can take some hard use - I got two last Christmas when Wal-mart had them for $10.

You need to stop creating new threads and just update the ones you've already made. I count 5 from you just on the first page...

if i update the old ones, noone will look ther because they will already think they have read it. i just got this account and im in love with posting

man, I just picked up a crown the other day like five minutes after I read a review for one. Pretty sweet. It opens insanely fast, though my retention is a bit iffy (don't have a torx bit on me at the moment). Got the walmart one, and I'm loving the blue, too.

I bought one at Walmart in blue this xmas and it is a good knife for sure.
