Well this got out of hand very quickly.

Haha that's always how it goes. "I'll treat myself this one time and get something above my usual price range." Then "Well I've already spent that much once I can do it again." Then that just becomes the new normal, until the cycle repeats at a higher price bracket.

Thanks for all of the comments. It is funny how the collection grows at an ebb and flow pace. I had six knives for about a year and a half then in the last six weeks it doubled. I originally thought I was out of my mind spending 300 on the Sig Legion edition XM-18. Well, that was eclipsed this fall with the looney money on that Combat Ttroodon Hellhound. I have an itch for some buttery smooth flippers and have been watching lots of threads for Holts or Hermans but the balance sheet needs a rest for a bit.

I noticed there was a perspective change when I started looking at storage options.

I guess what I mean is something like the difference between, "OK, it can stay, in the yard, for ONE NIGHT" and "Bowzer is going to need a bigger doghouse soon".

Also, you need at least x1 Zero Tolerance folder to go with the rest. Should be your next purchase! lol

Oh thankfully I haven't got that far... I have a modest limit and I really been limiting my purchases to items deemed useful, not "nother handle, blade coating/blade shape" thing

The slope is slippery already, and each member throws their bucket of oil on it. Nobody can stop sliding long enough to wipe up any of their own, much less anyone else’s.

Hey, but at least we’re in good company.
