Well? What now newb in need

As you are a new person, let me recommend to you that you tone down the responses. No one in this thread has been rude to you. BF discussion forums are family friendly. So watch the language.

My guess is that some people have a hard time reading a giant paragraph. As in they see it and refuse to read it. If someone can't hit return now and then, I can't be bothered to read it. So your message gets lost in laziness or a JDGAF attitude.

Back to the question of advice on the knife, or this thread is done.

You don't understand it looks like they let a halwit drink a bottle of jack and floor cleaner and then he must have used my blade to defend himself from the grinder or paper wheel or whatever. Its seriously fucked. I can and will fix it but I should be compensated for having to make a new knife out of an new one basically.

Great. Please post before and after pics when your done along with the method used. I'd love to see it with an even bevel.

but I should be compensated
You can be, but not how your thinking. Return the knife and be compensated for the time it took you to find out you don't like the way the grind works on that particular knife.

Once you attempt to change it, you will lilely end up with a mangled knife that only performs to a lesser level of another knife that would cost similar coin (going by market value of $85).

I get it I'm sorry about the attitude. Its been a bad winter. One bad situation on the heels of the last. I prefer edge's like the spew or leek its simple it's effective and would taken some work to mess up. That being said I tried something new ended up with a subpar example. I don't really understand what makes this design so much of a hassle so please educate me. I'm generally not am asshole. I'm open to suggestions and criticism. I have a lansky that's my beast of burden on this and a sog gambit. I haven't attempted to do anything to the boker. At this point no I don't want to try to work with them anymore. Two continent's and two bad attitude's. I doubt anything more helpful will come from them. I was more than polite patient and honest with them I did not receive the same.

I don't know how to post pic's. I'm not sure if you mean to imply that I can't fix it or something. If there's something you know that I obviously don't you could just let me know what I'm missing. Otherwise it seems sort of smug. Again not sure if that's you're intention. I have problem's picking up on tone in text so maybe it is me...

Instead of buying SOG and Boker stuff, return them, save your coin up and buy something that suits your needs and preferences.

There are plenty of folks that are willing to help if you create a thread in which you ask for a knife that has a preferred blade length/height, preferred handle material, Full tang, a preferred blade shape and a price range.

With returning the Boker, you can get a Becker BK16, 5, 10, possibly others.

Edit to add: You were already warned about your language and within the post that you apologize for it, you curse again...

We are trying to help you, but you are not helping yourself.

When I buy something, a knife, anything, I have an expectation of "perceived value", that the value of the product equals the value of the $ I spent.
If it doesn't I take recourse in returning the product, simple, normal course of business.
If you don't like the knife return it, if you don't want to return it, make it so you will like it.
SIMPLE
As a retailer for 40 years, I can tell you that's how 99% of the people do it. The other 1%, I was happy I "lost their business "

I don't know how to post pic's. .

As a registered user, you can post pics by first uploading them to a picture hosting site. There are several available which do not charge for the service.
♦ Once uploaded, copy the web address of the picture.
♦ Then go to your post and click the picture tool (next to the smiley on the tool bar). That gives you a popup.
♦ Paste the address of the picture into the window, being sure that it ends with a picture file extension such as .jpg.)
♦ Then click "INSERT".
