Since I am on the other side of the world, I have already had my morning coffee and opened my presents (also was out at the pool getting a slight sunburn...).
Unfortunatly, I didn't get any knives

..... However, I do have two IOU's.
One is for a Randall Model 8 with a Maple Burl Handle

and the other is a Marbles Sport 99 with a Silverwood Handle

.
How about the rest of you.
Merry Christams and Happy New Year to everyone.

It's 10:17 pm here...

Hmm, maybe Christmas would be more special if I didn't open all my presents the moment I got them!

Take care!! Michael

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

Daniel Winkler friction folder. 4 inch edge-grain damascus blade, 6.5 inch stag scaled handle. File work from tip to butt. One of the largest friction folders I have ever seen, this one is a lot of fun to play with.

It really Was in my stocking. I just had to give the knife to my wife a couple of weeks ago to give me for Christmas or she was threatening to send it back to the elves.

Despite all my hints and showing pictures, no one got me the LCC, OR the autohammer that I wanted.

I got a new Betty Page t-shirt, and a 4'x2"x1/4" bar of pure COPPER.
Now what shall I make with this?

A knife is by default a tool, it's only a weapon when a human chooses to make it so.
