The lowest priced Grizzly is the exact same saw as the WEN/HF from what I can see. The jet has a couple of changes, but it’s about 2x the price.

Not the same, just looks the same. Grizzly is better quality than HF.

Not trying to argue, but I'm genuinely curious what the differences are? The only difference I can see is the rated specs of the motors (which look identical in the pictures) of 4.6A (1/2hp) for the WEN, and 3/4hp for the Grizzly. There's also a very minor difference in the speeds listed.
Don't get me wrong, I own a number of Grizzly products, and nothing from WEN at the moment. I also know many of the overseas manufacturers tend to "round up" on power ratings, however, so I'm curious is there really is a difference in motors.
BTW: If anyone wants to send both saws to my house, I'll to a full AvE style tear down and comparison of all parts and functions involved...
