Hey Folks,
Here is a one of tomahawk available for purchase. 3/8" 80CrV2 plate, fully tapered tang, Caswell finish with black sandblasted, sculpted canvas micarta handles. OAW 1lb. 11oz, OAL 14", 6.25" wide head, 2.750" cutting edge. Rc on head is 59 with a torch tempered tang and glass breaker butt. Comes with felt lined kydex sheath. $465 shipped. Is the handle skeletonized as well as tapered? Where is the balance point? And does the hole in the head have a functional purpose?
 
Hey Brummie. I wanted to try the hole for two reasons, weight reduction and positive retention in the sheath. The tang is skeletonized as well as tapered. Balance is about 4" below head.
