Wenger vs Victorinox

Edit : Oh shit I just realized this thread was necro'd.
Damn I hate when that happens, sometimes I miss the date on threads and don't catch this it actually has been necro'd.

How the hell do you even find a thread from 2002 anyways ?

I'm a big fan of the Pattern 61 Soldier/Standard Issue. I have found the fit and finish to be slightly better on Victorinox production. I have one Wenger SI that is next to impossible to open. Waffen Control stamp and all!

The interesting thing is that the Victorinox Pioneer seems to better made than it's two cousins.

What company is it that makes the custom VICS? You know, the ones with fancy handles.

Can't think of their name. I am sure they will have a booth at the Balde show this weekend. Need to find them

Maybe Swissbianco?

Robert Lessard does fine work. He's not cheap but, custom work never is. You can find him online as SAKmodder.

His work features custom tool sets and Ti scales.
