What are the major differences between Wenger swiss army knives and Victorinox swiss army knives? Are there any other manufacturers of true SAKs?

Victorinox bought Wenger a year or so ago IIRC.

I think that they are the only two that manufacture genuine original swiss army knives.

YES there are differences in their respective patented tool blades.
Pricing is different too for similar models by both makers.
The big difference thing between original/genuine SWISS Army Knives versus those other SAK look-alike types is that they (replicators) aren't even Swiss made to begin with. And so, are not technically speaking, SWISS Army Knives but rather multitool folders inspired by Swiss invention.
Any knife buyer who chooses to be indifferent to the quality placed before them in the form of a Swiss product versus a cheap look-alike is making the biggest mistake of their life; because that's what which makes all the difference between a genuine SAK collector and one who is genuinely ignorant about such matters.

Go with Victorinox and you won't be sorry.

Exactly. I prefer Victorinox too, although of course you don't make a big mistake if you choose a Wenger. Make sure it's one of those two brands though.

Victorinox is the Original SAK brand from Swiss. The other brand is from US.

What are you even talking about? :D

BOTH are Swiss brands, Wenger was a brand that was established a good while after Victorinox, and the Swiss Army co-contracted both of them for knives. Victorinox is often said to have higher quality knives, although some of Wenger's stuff has some neat features (locking drivers, new scales etc.) I prefer Victorinox- Wenger backsprings tend to weaken significantly over time, but your mileage may vary.

Victorinox is good and Wenger is cheesy, gimmicky junk. Sorry if that's harsh; it's just my take on it.

Original or not original? which is better ? There is a simle answer ..... They are both made in china

Not only is that not a simle answer, it's not even accurate.

Victorinox and Wenger are not made in China. What are you smoking? Both brands are made in Switzerland. Ibach if I'm not mistaken.

Both are great knives and great companies.

Knifemaster, and acwire_2125 you both need to do research before you just post false answers like that. What in the world?

Lots of false information here, apparently.

Victorinox and Wenger are certainly NOT made in China.
(why would someone make such an unfounded declaration??)

They are both makers of Swiss Army Knives, have been tested and proven to be of equal quality (or almost, depending on personal opinions, biases, and individual cases), and are manufactured in Switzerland.

Visit www.sosakonline.com for some real, accurate information.

Have to echo the reasonable responses here since some utter BS was posted.

Victorinox and Wenger are both high quality SWISS MADE KNIVES!!!!

At first I was dumbfounded, then surprised, then stupified. Then I woke up and wondered why should I be surprised. It's total incorrect B.S., but no worse than you can find on most any knife or gun forum around. Another beer mama, I need it.
