Starting out buying an older Buck 110. Had one many years ago and lost it. While reading about 110s on this site , I read that Schrade LB7s were often compared and actually preferred by some. Bought a new LB7 (China of course) and started thinking if I really wanted to compare a 110 and a LB7, I needed a US made LB7. Found a good dea on our favorite auction site and made a purchase. All three knives will arrive by Tuesday. I was surprised at the prices on vintage US made LB7s. Still very reasonably priced as are vintage 110s. Must be millions in circulation after 30 years. No more knife purchases !

Congrats. I've always enjoyed my USA Schrades and Uncle Henry variants. It reminds me of when I was a kid. The Uncle Henry was the first knife my dad bought me.

I had an USA made Schrade UH LB7 with stagalon scales (faux stag) and brass bolsters as my glove box knife in my truck for years. Miss that old thing.

Pics of the comparison when you get both in your possession would be great!

No more knives? Do not, ever, ever buy a Spyderco and do not ever, ever visit the forum. You will have boxes of knives and wonder what happened.

I'm working myself down from buying expensive toys. Motorcycles , then watches, followed by guitars, and now knives!
