Texas Jack in amber bone.

Sorry for the crappy pics.

I didn't know case made that pattern/frame in that blade config(it is just the two blades?)

Nice!

Now ya prolly feel guilty and should go back and pick up the russlock:D

Glad you came to your senses. ;)

Nicely done.

Nice score! I love Jacks of all flavors.

I notice the secondary blade looks like a modified Wharncliff. Did you do that, or do they come that way now? If so, I have a new item on my wish list. LOL

I noticed that too -- I really like having a more substantial secondary blade and this one looks extremely useful, both in size and in profile.

As far as I know, CASE has been doing that for quite some years, like the 70's. Although, the newer productions have the regular pen blade.

God Bless

That is sweet! That knife is on my top 3 list to get. Seems to be a perfect EDC. Nice score.

This 4" custom I had made by Ken Coats ain't too shabby either...;) (Based on the Case 6292 pattern but with the modified wharncliffe at my request.)

These versions of the (6292) Texas Jack (1982 and 1998) feature the more standard pen blade:

Only my current version small Texas Jack has the modified blade.

This "6232" one from 1981 has the standard pen:

Nice choice! I have had mine in my pocket everyday for over a year now. It makes an excellent edc!

dispatch - Great choice! No disrespect intended toward the Russ, but I just can't get into that pattern at all for some reason.

Elliott - that secondary Wharncliffe is nice - and that there jigged bone ain't too shabby either.

thx - cpr

You made a great choice ...

There have been a few folks on here that posted the same knife. It seems to be very popular.

I carried this one for awhile, and still do from time to time.

Almost forgot.. That Coats is a beauty Elliott

Excellent choice. I got my Amber Bone Texas Jack yesterday. I love it so much that I replaced my Victorinox soldier which I have carried better part of 8 years with Case Amber Bone Texas Jack.
