Went back to the Pawn Shop

This is not a steal, this is highway robbery.
Congrats
It's the Japanese all stainless version, not the US titanium one. So while it's definitely a good deal, and maybe a bit of a steal, I wouldn't call it highway robbery.

I guess NIB can be somewhat subjective. But let's just say not a single scratch or mark on knife. And sorry about question about how good a deal. I am on many gun forums and any questions about values never have any issues.

"How good a deal" is asking for a quantitative value.

And in his last thread he asked this
"I know it depends on model but is it pretty safe that the Seki City Spyderco knives are worth that much."

That's asking about value. Again no big deal but shouldn't someone point out the rules? Nobody is attacking him. Just letting him know why people aren't going to post an actual dollar amount. OK let's move on now.

Ok guys last comment on this it's no big deal. I asked about the Seki City knives I did not ask exact value. I just did not want to pay more than what they were worth. When I started collecting Rugers I went to the Ruger experts. My interest in Spydecos lead me to you guys. I as I am sure most collectors are we like to not spend more than we need. That said I have spent more than I wanted for a few Rugers. But never regretted it. Like someone once said you only regret what you don't buy.

But that said I now have posted on some local forums WTB Spydercos. And am hitting the pawn shop again today. As I am sure most of you think the hunt is the fun part. I am self employed so as I travel I hit all the pawn shops and gun shops I see. Now I have something else to search for.

My Rugers. Just the ones boxed. And most are NIB.
It is getting harder to find the ones I need. Hope this is allowed. But if anyone want to part with a Ruger MKII let me know.

Good to see you over here as well. Yes, one of the unique rules of the board is that you have to have a gold membership to ask about value or sell a knife.

We've rubbed that in his face enough already, I think he knows.
By the way 1gun, nice stack of MKII's, i've been eyeballing one at my local gun shop for a while, but I think i'm going to invest in an LCP first, as I know a few people that own one and love it. Who knows, I haven't decided.
Keep us posted with your knife hunt, if you have any questions/recommendations/advice, be sure to post them here on the Forum, but make sure to use the Search bar to make sure you are not posting a duplicate. Good luck

Man, ATR's seem to be popping up all over lately. Certainly jealous of your purchase. Do a little reading and you will see why we are all so envious.
