I went out to one of our conservation areas today to do some shore bowfishing. I got out of my final at about 830 and was on the water at 920. This was pretty late in the morning to do this, but parts of the backwaters are still shaded at that time so I figured I'd go anyways since it was nice out.
I only saw two carp, missed both and they didn't come back. I saw several snakes and frogs, and saw a crayfish for the first time in the wild here. Also saw some pelicans and geese of course.
No pictures because I was wearing rubber boots and carrying my bow while trying to walk on logs, in mud, and on slippery rocks. Sorry.
