went for a drive and a walk today warning : pics

Went for a drive , had a bit of a walk , and seen some kinda beautiful country .

There was snow a few weeks back , some still on the ground in patches but the country was kinda spectacular ...

I actually took the family up because I wanted to try out my new mud tyres on some kinda slimy tracks .

they make a hell of a difference , besides giving me an under read on the speedo of 12 kmh , they give a hell of a lot of traction , we got easily thru sections of track that others clearly had had serious problems , the pic is before we got em muddy tho

and of course , the obligitory knife shot

yeah , OK , I dont carry flashy gear much ... but this old one been with me all over the country allready ... dont chuck stuff at me OK ?

I seriously doubt that anyone here would throw anything at you for carrying that knife. I think Okapis are pretty well respected here. Even those who are into all of the high tech design and special steels in knives seem to have a healthy respect for simple tried and true knives like Okapis and Opinels and Moras.
