Went to buy a couple old Marlin rifles and the gentleman threw in a couple knives

I visited a nice older gentleman yesterday to look at a couple of Marlin 336's. We decided on a price and I asked hime if he had any old hunting knifes he wanted to get rid of. He said he didn't but a Finnish foreign exchange student had given him a couple knives years ago and I could have them if I wanted them. They look pretty good to me for free.

Wow! Two great looking martinnis. It would be sweet to pair them up with the 336's by way of attaching sheath to sling or something like that.

The two 336's are in 35Rem and 32WS from 1951&53. I'm a huge fan of old Marlins.

That actually was pretty cool. The older gentleman obviously didn't care for the Finnish knives or the typical design, so he placed no value in them.

Awesome package deal. Those look well cared for. Can't believe I sold my .444 Marlin with a Williams 5D peep sight a few years back. I really miss that one.

I'm currently setting up my 1980 444S with a Skinner sight. I'm a big Marlin fan.
