Were any earlier Howling Rats differentially heat treated?

Were any of the Howling Rat series differentially treated? How about the Basic series?

No differentially treated Howlers out there, all are through hardened.

The Basics were Modified INFI, through hardened as well.

The smallest differentially hardened Rat that I can recall is the Desert Jack.
